Class of 2024

Class of 2024 - For information on any of the below players, please contact Belinda Heltzel at [email protected]

Zane Boler
Red Land High School

I have been playing field hockey since I was 9 years old. I played for Central Penn Field Hockey at U10 and U12. Because of a boys playing opportunity, I then trained with WC Eagles U16 teams for both of my U14 years. I returned to play with Central Penn field hockey for my first U16 year, where I played for the top U16 team at all non-USA sanctioned tournaments. I was a starting varsity player for both of my middle school years with Red Land, however because I am a boy I am not permitted to play with the high school team. Instead, I began running cross country and lettered during my freshman year. In April of 2019, I tried out and was selected for the USA Junior Men’s National Indoor Field Hockey team. In October 2019, I was selected for the USA Junior Men’s National U16 team. I plan to major in Physical Therapy in college, where I am hoping to be able to be a field hockey practice player.

Astrid Comp
East Pennsboro Area High School

My average this first year of high school is 99.5%, while taking 4 honors classes. I was a member of National Junior Honor Society, and projected to be a member of National Honor Society. In my free time, I sing and play field hockey! My favorite field hockey position to play is forward, but I can also play mid and even succeed as a defender. This is my 7th year of school field hockey and 5th year in club. I’ve played level one each year of club, and was on the number one U14 indoor team my 2019/2020 season. During that last indoor season, my team was the U14 NIT Pool B Champion! We even took second place in the U16 Pool F at NITs, beating the first place winner. That season, our team won 12 consecutive games in the Junior Premier Indoor League, only to take 2nd place after 4 rounds of shootouts! That same season, I had the chance to compete in the Disney Showcase in Pool A.
I’m very organized, have excellent time management, and I’m highly motivated! Lately, I’m considering a career as a CPA. I want to attend college where I can play competitive field hockey and be challenged academically. Other extracurricular activities of mine are: Freshman Class Treasurer; member of choir since 3rd grade; participated in school musicals for the past five years, including being cast as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Alice in Wonderland; Mini-Thon volunteer since 5th grade. Recognitions Received: Messiah College Field Hockey Camp All-Star in 2019; listed as top new-comer for my high school team Freshman year; Panther Pride award in 2020; Student of the Month in 2020.

Ashley Doyle

Red Land High School

Hi Coaches, I am Ashley.  Thank you for taking the time to read about me.  I have been playing field hockey since 3rd grade.  My favorite position is midfield, but I can play any field position.  Last school season, I was the only freshman selected on the varsity roster at the start of the season.   I started every game and was the primary inserter on corners.   I was also the recipient of the "Rookie of the Year" Award.  I currently play in the U19 age group at Central Penn Field Hockey on a Level 1 team and have been with the Club for 6 seasons of indoor and outdoor play.  In middle school, I played on the varsity team in 7th and 8th grades and was the top female scorer and received the "Most Valuable Player" Award my 8th grade season.  I bring my best to every practice and game and push others around me to be the best they can be.  I am constantly working to better myself academically and athletically.  I am currently undecided in my major but am seeking a college or university where I can play competitive field hockey while obtaining an education to help me later in life.  See my full profile at:

Naomi Lyter
Greenwood High School

Hi! My name is Naomi Lyter and I am a freshman at Greenwood High School.  I am a very avid field hockey player and hope to take my love of it to the next level.  In college,  I hope to get into the medical field to follow my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. My love for this sport started in 3rd grade when I went to a few small camps at my school. Before that, I was a huge soccer fan and almost refused to try field hockey. Then, in 4th grade, I played for mini-sticks. In 4th grade, I also started indoor for PA Mavericks. This was their last year as a club, so I switched to PA Revolution. After playing with them for about 2 years, I thought it was best for me to go somewhere else. That's when I went to Central Penn Field Hockey Club. I have been with Central Penn now for about 3 years.  For all of those 3 years, I have been on a Level 1 team.  My school team has been 3- time PIAA District 3 Class A champions and this past year we were also PIAA Class A Runner-Ups.  Although I did not start every game, I was the only freshman on the roster. I started 1 game and got a lot of playing time.  I'm looking forward to gaining more experience and skills to come back strong for my sophomore season.  Thanks for your time and please consider looking at my page here:
