Class of 2024 - For information on any of the below players, please contact Belinda Heltzel at [email protected]

Zane Boler
Red Land High School

I have been playing field hockey since I was 9 years old. I played for Central Penn Field Hockey at U10 and U12. Because of a boys playing opportunity, I then trained with WC Eagles U16 teams for both of my U14 years. I returned to play with Central Penn field hockey for my first U16 year, where I played for the top U16 team at all non-USA sanctioned tournaments. I was a starting varsity player for both of my middle school years with Red Land, however because I am a boy I am not permitted to play with the high school team. Instead, I began running cross country and lettered during my freshman year. In April of 2019, I tried out and was selected for the USA Junior Men’s National Indoor Field Hockey team. In October 2019, I was selected for the USA Junior Men’s National U16 team. I plan to major in Physical Therapy in college, where I am hoping to be able to be a field hockey practice player.

Naomi Lyter COMMITTED (Messiah University)

Greenwood High School

Hi! My name is Naomi Lyter and I am a freshman at Greenwood High School.  I am a very avid field hockey player and hope to take my love of it to the next level.  In college,  I hope to get into the medical field to follow my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. My love for this sport started in 3rd grade when I went to a few small camps at my school. Before that, I was a huge soccer fan and almost refused to try field hockey. Then, in 4th grade, I played for mini-sticks. In 4th grade, I also started indoor for PA Mavericks. This was their last year as a club, so I switched to PA Revolution. After playing with them for about 2 years, I thought it was best for me to go somewhere else. That's when I went to Central Penn Field Hockey Club. I have been with Central Penn now for about 3 years.  For all of those 3 years, I have been on a Level 1 team.  My school team has been 3- time PIAA District 3 Class A champions and this past year we were also PIAA Class A Runner-Ups.  Although I did not start every game, I was the only freshman on the roster. I started 1 game and got a lot of playing time.  I'm looking forward to gaining more experience and skills to come back strong for my sophomore season.  Thanks for your time and please consider looking at my page here: https://sites.google.com/greenwoodsd.k12.pa.us/naomilyterfieldhockey/home
