Sydney Aylward COMMITTED (Temple University)
Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School

I worked hard to earn a varsity starting position during my freshman season (2019). I have been playing field hockey since I was eight years old. At that time, I also began playing soccer and played both sports for the next five years. After middle school, I chose to focus on my first love, field hockey. I am hardworking both on and off the field. During my freshman year, I took all Level 1 courses and maintained an A average. Every time I take my first step on the field, I put 100% into the game. I learn from my mistakes and I see them as stepping stones to better myself at the game. I love my teammates and it is amazing knowing that I can rely on them on and off the field. I am currently undecided about my major, but hope to make an impact on my future college's field hockey team. Hayley Campbell  COMMITTED (Colgate University)
Susquehanna Township High School

My name is Hayley Campbell, and I began playing field hockey in middle school for Susquehanna Township.  I have been a varsity letter winner my past two years and started and played every varsity minute this past season.  I am always challenging myself to grow as a player and teammate.   I have also danced for thirteen years which allows me to be agile in the cage as well as participate in my church’s worship team.  Academically, I have been a consistent distinguished honors student, holding over a ninety-eight percent grade point average in all honors and advanced placement courses. I bring an energetic, encouraging, and competitive aspect to the game. I believe the most important quality I bring to my team is my ability to drive my team to be an unstoppable force, while being the pillar of the communicative element, by commanding the field, that is the key to the web of dominant gameplay. I am looking forward to bringing these attributes to a college where I can be academically challenged and can participate in a high level of play.  Here is a link to some highlights from this past sophomore season in which I allowed 0.66 goals per game and was named a Mid Penn All-Star:  https://youtu.be/jZ0S-rkvmCQ

Mechanicsburg High School

I began playing field hockey when I was 9 years old. I play(ed) other sports through the years (lacrosse, basketball, rugby) but hockey has always been my passion. I started playing with Central Penn when I was 11.  The club has been vital in growing my skills as well as my love for the game. With CP I have developed from playing on availability teams as a U12 to being placed on the top teams for both indoor & outdoor seasons as a U14 & U16.  A highlight was placing 1st in Pool B at the 2019 U14 NIT.  I also appreciate the opportunities I’ve had to be a mentor, coach & umpire for younger girls through the Mech Rec department & CP mini sticks. I received a varsity letter my freshman and sophomore years at Mechanicsburg. During my sophomore year I had the opportunity to start varsity, where I played in the midfield.  I have a 3.8 GPA and am on the honor roll. My coaches tell me I am a great teammate, a hard worker, and very coachable.  I am exploring my educational & career interests so I am looking for a college that has many opportunities and a team that will push me & encourage my growth as a player and person! https://sites.google.com/view/natalie-wilson-2023/home
