Hello Coaches! My name is Gracie Hivner and I have been playing Field Hockey for 6 years! I attend East Pennsboro Area High School in Enola, Pennsylvania where I hold a 94% GPA while taking three honors classes. As a freshman I earned my varsity letter in both Field Hockey and Track and Field. I mostly play defense, but am able to play every field position. I am described as coachable, goal-oriented and hard working. While I am currently unsure what I want to pursue in college, I am looking for a program that allows me to be both academically and athletically challenged! Newport High School

My current GPA at Newport High School is a 3.9, while taking honors and college courses. I'm ranked 8 out of 67 students. I am a member of the National Honor Society. In my free time I workout, travel, go to the races, and hunt. I am also in the process of building a micro sprint car for the upcoming season. In the past, I have wrestled on the Newport High School boys varsity team. This year I plan on wrestling on the girls team since girls wrestling was sanctioned recently as a PIAA sport. I also plan on playing basketball in the winter, and track in the spring. I am a versatile player; playing all positions for school and club. This is my 10th year of school field hockey and 6th year in club. I’ve played level one each year of club, and was on the number one U14 indoor team until I moved up to the level one U16 team my 2021/2022 season. I've had the chance to compete in multiple national indoor and outdoor tournaments, as well as three times in the Disney Showcase. Other extracurricular activities I am involved in are: member of Student Council, member of the Newport FFA Chapter, breakfast club, PYEA, member of the class of 2025 organization committee, and varsity club. I am hardworking, coachable, and have a growth mindset. I am passionate about growing my knowledge of the game.
